These terms apply to Tourney by PadelMind (tourney.padelmind.in), operated by Anchor Fastener Mfg Corporation (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or an event, you agree to them.
Tourney is an online platform (an intermediary) for padel events: sign-ups, payments to the organiser, draws, scoring, standings, WhatsApp updates and results. Independent organisers (“hosts”) publish events; players find them, sign up, pay the host and play.
We are not the organiser of any event a host lists, we are not a party to the arrangement between a host and a player, and we do not sell event places. Event details, prices, prizes, venue arrangements and refund rules are set by the host, and each event page shows who the host is.
You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be 18 or over to host an event.
Hosts pay a platform fee per event to make it live, as shown on the pricing page at the time of payment. The fee is for use of the software for that event and can’t be moved to another event.
Our order process outside India is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all those orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders.
Players pay hosts directly (for example by UPI to the host’s own account). We do not receive, hold, transfer or guarantee these payments, and we are not responsible for a host’s failure to run an event, pay prizes or make refunds. Before paying, players are shown who they are paying and that the event, prizes and any refund are the host’s responsibility.
By signing up to an event, players agree to that event’s rules as set by the host, and to receive WhatsApp messages about it. Questions about an event, its price, prizes or refunds go first to the host; if that doesn’t resolve it, contact our Grievance Officer (section 11).
If a host cancels an event, every player who paid is owed a refund by the host. Tourney tells players the event is cancelled and shows each player the status of their refund (pending or refunded, with the payment reference) as the host records it. A host can delete an event at any stage unless a player has paid and not yet been refunded. Refunds of our own platform fee are covered by the refund policy.
Hosts will compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from their events, the money they collect, their prizes and refunds, or their breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
We may suspend a host or player account, hide or remove an event, or restrict a host from collecting payments through Tourney if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken or players are at risk, and we may share relevant information with affected players or authorities where the law allows or requires.
For a complaint about an event, a host, a payment or Tourney itself, contact our Grievance Officer: Manoj Maheshwari, Anchor Fastener Mfg Corporation, 6, 6/16, A C Market Bldg, Madan Mohan Malviya Road, Tardeo, Mumbai 400034 · [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. We help to the best of our ability — contacting the host, asking them to act, and suspending hosts or removing events where these terms are broken. Because players pay hosts directly, we cannot ourselves return a payment made to a host.
We work to keep Tourney available and accurate but provide it “as is”. Scoring works offline and syncs later. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law. Subject to that, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of hosts or players, or for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before it.
You can stop using Tourney at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Refunds of the platform fee are covered by the refund policy.
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Mumbai having jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
